Directions to Furman University
From Charlotte, NC and points northeast --Follow I-85 to Exit 51, taking I-385 North to Greenville. Travel north on I-385 for 8.2 miles into the city of Greenville. At this point I-385 will have become Beattie Place. Cross over Main St. and proceed straight across Academy, Butler and Atwood. Stay in the right lanes. After 1.3 mile Rt 25 Business N (Poinsett Highway) to Furman will veer right. Furman is 5.8 miles from this point.
From Atlanta, GA and points southwest --
Take I-85 to the I-185 exit. Follow I-185 into Greenville. I-185 will become Mills Avenue and then Church Street. Turn left onto Beattie Place. Continue on Beattie Place across Main Street, Academy, Butler and Atwood. Stay in the right lanes. After 1.3 mile Rt 25 Business N (Poinsett Highway) to Furman will veer right. Furman is 5.8 miles from this point.
From Columbia, SC and points east --
Take I-385 into downtown Greenville. Bear right onto Highway 183 which becomes Beattie Place. Cross over Main St. and proceed straight across Academy, Butler and Atwood. Stay in the right lanes. Rt 25 Business N (Poinsett Highway) to Furman will veer right. Furman is 5.8 miles from this point.
Alternative Route --
Follow I-85 to Exit 51, taking I-385 North to Greenville. Travel north on I-385 for 4.6 miles to the N. Pleasantburg Drive exit (Rt. 291 N). Stay on N. Pleasantburg as it crosses over E. North Street (0.9 mile). At the next light veer left, which is staying on N. Pleasantburg. Cross over Wade Hampton Blvd. (Rt. 29). Stay in the middle lane. Stay on N. Pleasantburg for 3.1 miles until it joins Rt. 253, veering left. Immediately you will come upon in an intersection with Rt. 276 (Rt. 25 Business). Turn right onto Rt. 276 W. Follow this road for 3.0 miles until you see the exit to Furman University to the right.

Directions On Campus:
Checking in --
Upon reaching campus, go around the fountain in a counter-clockwise direction and McAlister Auditorium will be directly on your right. There will be a registration tent just to the right of McAlister, in front of the Music Building. If you are pre-registered and have your name badge with you, you don't need to register at the tent, but can go directly into the auditorium. People registering for Furman housing will register in this tent as well as those attending the conference who don't have their name badge with them.
Parking --
The parking locations: 1) in the lot to the right of McAlister Auditorium; 2) behind McAlister Auditorium and the Roe Art Building - accessed by the road that passes between McAlister and Roe. Turn left to park behind Roe, right to park behind McAlister. There is plenty of parking in North Village where Furman housing will be.
